Perfect Life Partner Tips

Dear Friend,

Here is your Find Your Perfect Life Partner tip number thirty.

You have had a fun time, he or she was nice but how do you...

Life Partner Tip 30. Politely Let A Date Know They "Aren't Your Type?

The date was fun, you liked the person well enough but afterward you just knew it wasn't going to work out. Now what? Most people have a really hard time "letting someone down easy" so here are three easy ways.

Wrong Timing

"Thanks for the great time. I really had fun and with my work schedule over the next few months I realized I just don't have the time to start something new right now." Notice you didn't use the "R" word and the door is left open should you change your mind. If he or she is still single when you decide to try again is another question!

Not Ready Yet

"Thanks for the great time. I really had fun and after I got home I realized that I haven't fully dealt with my feelings around my ex (girlfriend/boyfriend). I respect you too much to drag you into my mess right now." Again its your stuff and the door is left open for the future.

My personal favorite: "Good Luck with..."

"Thanks for the great time. I really had fun. Good luck and I hope your _____ (something that is important to them; work, hobby, etc.) works out great for you". This one is so simple and yet so polite. Only a really low self esteem person could take "Good luck" as a negative comment.

So there you go a couple or three ways to "let someone down easy" if you have to.

Have a great day!

Cheers,

Sasha
